How to use the Business Days Calculator
- Choose “Count between dates” to find how many working days lie in a range, or “Add working days” to find a deadline.
- Pick a country to skip its public holidays and use its weekend (Friday–Saturday in much of the Middle East, for example), or leave it on weekends only.
- Excluded holidays are listed under the result so you can check them.
Frequently asked questions
Are the start and end dates included?
Yes — when counting, both the start and end dates are included if they're working days. When adding, counting starts from the next working day after the start date.
Which holidays are skipped?
The nationwide public holidays we list for the chosen country, currently for 2026 and 2027. Regional holidays, and religious holidays that depend on moon sighting, aren't included — check the country page for details.
Which days count as the weekend?
Saturday and Sunday by default. When you choose a country, its own weekend is used — for example Friday and Saturday in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt and Israel, Friday in Iran, and Saturday in Nepal.
