Brazil Calendar

Brazil spans four time zones, though most of the population — including São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro — follows Brasília Time (UTC−3) year-round; the country abolished daylight saving in 2019. Alongside the Gregorian calendar, Brazil's holidays mix fixed civic dates with movable Christian feast days tied to Easter, plus widely observed (though not strictly mandatory) 'ponto facultativo' days like Carnival.
